Ironwood is one of the few private clubs in Palm Desert with two 18-hole golf courses. The South Course is a par-72 layout known for its dramatic scenery, water features and broad range of tee options, while the par-71 North Course rewards accuracy and thoughtful shot-making.
The courses began with designs by Desmond Muirhead and Ted Robinson, in consultation with Arnold Palmer. Several holes were later strategically redesigned by architect and former PGA player John Fought.
